Choose the Number of pieces for the puzzle. You can create puzzles of 100, 250, 500, or 1000 pieces. The size of the puzzle pieces decreases as the number of pieces increases.
Note that only 200 pieces are in play at a time for 500 and 1,000 piece puzzles. Real Puzzler first drops all the edge and corner pieces, then drops interior pieces in clusters to ensure that the pieces in play connect to each other. As each piece is successfully placed, another piece is dropped into play, until all puzzle pieces are available.
Once you’ve set your puzzle options, choose Create puzzle, to begin puzzling. Real Puzzler takes a few seconds to prepare the puzzle.
Real Puzzler presents a volumetric window with a board, puzzle pieces, and an options pane that contains an image of the current puzzle. You can move this volumetric window anywhere with the drag bar. The volume is low profile, so you can run other applications such as streaming movies while you puzzle.

The piece is placed (denoted by a small firework effect and audible chime) if it's within the Position precision and Rotation precision ranges. The puzzle pieces support dynamic physics, You can toss them across the board.
Once a puzzle piece is placed, it is out of play and can’t be selected or moved.
In the options pane, you can adjust the Position precision slider to make placement more challenging (move the slider right) or less challenging (move the slider left).
The position precision range varies depending on puzzle size.
100 Pieces: 110 mm - 1 mm
250 Pieces: 150 mm - 1 mm
500 Pieces: 200 mm - 1 mm
1000 Pieces: 250 mm - 1 mm
The Rotation precision slider sets how closely the rotation of the puzzle piece must match its placement rotation. Move the slider all the way to the right and the rotation of the piece must be within 5 degrees of its placement rotation. Move the slider all the way to the left and any rotation will suffice for placement.
